In November 2020, Mr. Joost Siteur, Investment Mobilization Lead for USAID Clean Power Asia, presented on the Outlook for Wind Energy in Vietnam during the Future Energy Show Vietnam 2020. The presentation covered the current status of the Vietnam market, challenges of the regulatory framework, prospects for further growth in the next few years, and the potential for offshore wind in Vietnam. Participants at the online event included policymakers, RE project developers, and financiers, both local and international.
